First developed in 1892, Absorbine® Veterinary Liniment has been used by generations of horse owners to relieve tired muscles and joints. Today it remains the world’s best-selling horse liniment, still offering the same powerful blend of natural herbs and essential oils.

From soothing soreness and stiffness to treating common skin and hoof issues, this versatile liniment truly is a “medicine chest in a bottle.” Rub directly onto sore joints and muscles, or use diluted as a refreshing body wash. Available in a 16 oz size.

Legs and joints: for fast relief of temporary muscle and joint aches, swelling and stiffness, apply to sore areas by rubbing the liquid into the skin. Can be applied two or more times daily. Arthritis: deep penetrating heat soothes pain and tissue swelling due to arthritis. Rub into stiff joints before and after work to increase pain relief. Muscle soreness:

Apply to affected areas and cover with a blanket. Body wash: add it to a cooling body wash to refresh a tired horse, while astringents remove sweat and dirt. Recipe: mix 110 ml of Absorbine and 225 ml of vinegar with 700 ml of water. Use the mixture to sponge the horse. Hoof disinfectant: the formula penetrates the porous hoof sole and frog to disinfect. Apply once a week to help prevent bacterial and fungal infections. Use daily to treat common hoof conditions such as abscesses, cracks, delamination, thrush and white line disease. Skin infection: kills germs on contact and stops itching in seconds. Use to clean and treat bacterial skin conditions such as rain rot, scratches, summer itch and tail itch. Apply to the infected area three times a week.
