Indications:

Treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract of equids in the acute, chronic and exacerbation or relapse phase, and in particular chronic obstructive bronchopneumopathy (COPD).

Dosage:

The recommended dosage is 5-10 mg of N-acetylcysteine/kg body weight/day, to be administered for 5 - 15 days depending on the clinical course of the disease, intravenously. The corresponding amounts of EQUIMUCIL® INJECTABLE to be administered daily based on the weight of the subject to be treated are therefore as follows:
