Indications:

Treatment of cases where digestion needs to be promoted by stimulating the exocrine glands of the digestive tract, also as an adjunct to other treatments.

Cattle:

Dietary imbalances, rumen overload, constipation, hepatic dystrophy and hepatitis, gastroenteritis. Appetite stimulation in cases of anorexia or during convalescence and as an adjunct in the specific treatment of ketosis and tympanism.

Pigs:

Cases of reduced appetite and constipation, such as may occur during farrowing and weaning; in cases of paralytic pseudo-ileus, delayed development and in cases of mild paralysis of the hind limbs that may occur in pigs fattened too quickly.

Horses:

Hepato-digestive disorders caused by dietary imbalance (rations too rich in oats), enteritis with constipation, hepatitis, post-influenza convalescence.

Sheep:

Dietary imbalances, rumen overload, constipation, hepatic dystrophy and hepatitis, gastroenteritis. Appetite stimulation in cases of anorexia or during convalescence and as an adjunct in the specific treatment of ketosis and tympanism.

Pregnancy toxemia, possibly in combination with a corticosteroid.

Dosage:

To be administered by deep intramuscular injection at a maximum dose of 10 mg/kg b.w. (1 ml/10 kg b.w.).

Cattle:

Adult cattle: 15 - 50 ml, according to weight

Calves: 5 - 15 ml, according to weight

Pigs:

Sows: 10 - 20 ml, according to weight

Fattening pigs: 1 ml/10 kg b.w.

Horses: 20 - 30 ml, according to weight

Sheep: 5 - 6 ml, according to weight

In severe cases repeat administration after 24 hours.
