Indications:

Local, loco-regional, nerve block and epidural anesthesia.

Dosage:

As prescribed by the veterinary surgeon.

Surface anesthesia: 3-4 drops on the mucosa to be anesthetized (topical)

Infiltration anesthesia: 0.5-1 ml/cm of incision (subcutaneous)

Epidural anesthesia: equines 1-1.25 ml/100 kg (6-10 ml)

Intrasynovial anesthesia: equines 6-30 ml (intra-articular)

Conduction anesthesia: equines 1-15 ml (subcutaneous; perineural)

Each technique and procedure require different doses and methods of administration.

Administration may be combined with vasoconstrictors (adrenaline, epinephrine) in a ratio of 1:100,000-1:200,000 (infiltration and epidural anesthesia).
