Indications:

for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the acute and subchronic phase. Treatment of febrile, hypersecretory conditions with loss of function in cases of bronchopneumonia, especially during the acute phase. Treatment of pain, dehydration and hyperperistalsis in cases of enteritis. Treatment of pain, fever, edema and other symptoms caused by endotoxins.

In particular, the main indications are: musculoskeletal disorders (laminitis, myositis, arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, fractures etc.). Visceral pain associated with colic.

Depending on the condition, Meflosyl can be used alone or in association with etiological, antibiotic, metabolic or other therapy.

Dosage:

1 ml/45 kg body weight (1.1 mg/kg body weight) once daily by intravenous or intramuscular route.

Do not treat animals for more than 5 consecutive days.

For the treatment of colic, intravenous administration is recommended; administration may be repeated after about 1 hour in case of poor efficacy.

Treated animals must have plenty of drinking water available.
