Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of respiratory disorders accompanied by changes in secretion and characterized by the presence of exudates, such as catarrhal inflammations of the upper airways, acute, subacute and chronic bronchitis. In the presence of general disorders (such as, for example, hyperthermia, inappetence, etc.) an etiological treatment is advisable.

Dosage:

Administer orally 0.3 mg of dembrexine hydrochloride monohydrate/kg b.w. twice daily, in the morning and in the evening. One measuring spoon contains 5 g of powder, equal to 25 mg of active ingredient. A 500 kg horse must be given 6 measuring spoons of powder in the morning and 6 in the evening. Treatment (maintenance therapy) must continue until symptoms disappear (maximum 15 days). The above doses may be varied at the veterinarian’s discretion. Therapy may be changed if, after at least 5 days of treatment, no improvement occurs in symptoms related to secretion disorders (dyscrinia).
